Guildhall Winchester is a magnificent Victorian building situated in the heart of the city with a family-friendly café and an exciting programme of live entertainment and events from tribute bands to craft shows to festivals. They needed a website to increase audience numbers, visitors to the café and hirers of the 12 venue spaces. They wanted the website to be clean, easy to use and meet AA accessibility standards.
With 12 flexible venue spaces, the most prominent feature of the website is the event calendar. In WordPress, we built a platform where users can find up-to-date information about upcoming events and buy tickets on the website. We also created pages with embedded 3D videos so users can explore the venues before hiring them.
