The Pastry Corner approached us to create a brand for their high-end takeaway patisserie, bespoke cake and catering company based in Southsea. They wanted a visual identity that showcased their passion for creating luxury treats and accommodates their elite skill sets. We created a visual identoy that was applied to their new shop interior and exterior, e-commerce website, stationary and packaging.
We created a logotype and monogram icon that took inspiration from vintage patisseries for an established look. We then applied this with a colour palette curated from the natural tones of the delicious food and bakes that come out of The Pastry Corner's kitchen. This allows the branding and product photography to compliment one another to create visual consistency. Using serif typography with strong, contradictory and flamboyant personality to make graphic elements, from shop signage to business card, feel ultra-premium and full of expression.
