CVM People provide the talent and expertise organisations need to acquire, engage, and maximise the value of customers and data. With their approach through executive search and data led insight, CVM helps transform and enables a company to understand and target their customer base.They help clients to build and embed a virtuous circle of value, providing the talent required to deliver continuous innovation and improvement. As a business and recruitment consultancy, they are often pitted against industry titans, such as; Deloitte, McKinsey and Accenture. They approached us to rebrand their organisation in a way that best reflects their reputation as an industry leader, who produces tangible results with its lean, efficient and transparent approach.
What we did
The challenge was developing a brand that effectively supported their forward-thinking vision and enabled us to create a new understanding of their benefits and service offerings. Our approach was to ensure that our design appealed to their core audience of C Suite and mid level marketing management to help them understand CVM’s value add, and ultimately increase new business prospects.
Our creative strategy draws from CVM’s use of human centric data within businesses, to structure embedded change and foundations for the future. Approaching CVM People’s visual identity we wanted to focus on data inspired design, a concept that we felt resonated with their methodology and business ethos, resulting in a clean and crystal clear visual identity that establishes CVM People as the small yet mighty front runner of their industry.
Once we had established the creative strategy, we set out to create a site that felt distinctive whilst remaining consistent with the brand ethos. We built a WordPress site with a custom Elementor build that reflects the core brand principles we had set out. The end result is a dynamic and engaging platform that demonstrates the intricacies of CVM’s unique approach as simple and transformative, whilst clearly communicating their expert advice and resources.
One of the key website features for CVM was incorporating live job listings, which dynamically pulls live job data from API with filters. To keep things running smoothly we used performance optimisations such as lazy loading of images for faster load times. We further improved the user journey by adding a mega menu navigation for easy access to key services, including downloadable resources with categories, search, and filter options. On the backend we incorporated a user-friendly dashboard that made making edits and adding new content easy.
We crafted a logo that heroes upward angles and smooth curves, communicating the message of an uplifting approach without skimping on standing out. Combined with a synonymous brand mark that represents how CVM uses great people to accomplish great results. The three people within the brand mark represent how the three core services help businesses and clients to achieve transformative results.
For the brand identity and website we created an electric and natural colour palette inspired by data and technology, whilst remaining firmly rooted in reality. Coinciding with minimal and clean brand patterns that represent the interconnection of technology, data and the people at the heart of CVM.
When showcasing photographic imagery we chose to capture real moments of dynamic connection – people coming together, physically and digitally. The imagery chosen for CVM People aims to echo the whole visual identity, bold, clean, and optimistic; animated, dynamic, energetic, and full of life.
Using imagery with story and soul, we chose editorial-style imagery that felt fresh and bright. Ensuring that these images are authentic and captured candid moments of real-life, in-person situations with digital applications.
