Are you a digital agency, creative agency or design agency?
We are a digital and creative agency, which means we combine brand thinking, design craft and technical development. We can support the whole journey, from brand strategy and visual identity to websites, digital platforms, campaigns and production assets.
What is brand and digital?
Brand and digital is the process of building the brand and the digital experience together. It connects strategy, identity, tone of voice, UX, content, web design and development so your website does not feel separate from the brand.
Why should branding and web design be done together?
Your website is often the most important place people experience your brand. By building branding and web design together, we make sure your identity, content, tone of voice, UX and digital platform all work as one joined-up system.
Do we need a full rebrand or just a brand refresh?
A brand refresh is usually right when your existing brand still has value, but needs to feel sharper, more consistent or more current. A full rebrand is better when the strategy, name, positioning, messaging or identity no longer reflect the organisation.
What is the difference between brand identity and visual identity?
Visual identity is the visible part of your brand: logo, colour, typography, imagery, graphics, illustration and layout style. Brand identity is broader and includes positioning, messaging, tone of voice, audience strategy and the wider system that guides how the brand behaves.
Can you help with naming?
Yes. We can help name businesses, products, campaigns, services and sub-brands. Naming works best when it connects back to the wider brand strategy, tone of voice and visual direction.
Can you design a logo?
Yes. We design logos and logo systems for startups, small businesses and established organisations. A logo might include a primary mark, wordmark, icon, monogram, secondary lockup, social avatar or responsive versions for digital and print.
What makes a good website?
A good website helps people understand who you are, find what they need and take action with confidence. It needs clear structure, strong messaging, considered UX, responsive design, good performance, SEO foundations and a CMS your team can actually use.
Can you design a website if we already have developers?
Yes. We can provide UX, wireframes, interface design, prototypes and development-ready design systems for your own developers to build from. This is useful if you have an in-house team but need stronger design thinking or a more polished interface.
Is Laravel better than WordPress?
Laravel is not automatically better than WordPress. It depends on what the website needs to do. WordPress is great for many content-led websites. Laravel is usually better for larger, more complex, functionality-led platforms that need bespoke features, integrations or stronger scalability.
What is Statamic CMS?
Statamic is a CMS built on Laravel. It gives your team a clean, familiar way to manage content, while giving the platform a stronger Laravel framework underneath. It is useful for content-rich websites and ambitious digital platforms.
Do you build WordPress websites?
Yes. We build WordPress websites for businesses, charities, schools, local organisations and content-led projects. We create WordPress sites with clear structure, reusable sections, SEO foundations and a manageable editing experience.
Can you refresh an existing WordPress website?
Yes. If your current WordPress site still has value but feels dated, messy or hard to use, we can audit it and improve what is already there. That might mean redesigning key pages, improving navigation, tidying content, strengthening UX or making the CMS easier to manage.
Do you build Shopify websites?
Yes. We design and build Shopify stores for product-led brands, retail businesses, merchandise shops and growing e-commerce brands. We can help with product structure, collection pages, checkout journeys, custom themes, integrations and ongoing improvements.
Can you help with packaging and e-commerce together?
Yes. For retail and e-commerce brands, packaging and online stores need to feel part of the same brand system. We can help with packaging design, product photography direction, Shopify or WooCommerce stores, product pages, launch campaigns and social content.
What graphic design services do you offer?
We offer graphic design across print, digital and campaign work. That includes brochures, posters, flyers, signage, packaging, infographics, illustration, social assets, presentations, reports, editorial design, digital ads, exhibition graphics and production artwork.
Can you design brochures and reports?
Yes. We design brochures, reports, prospectuses, catalogues, guides, annual reports, impact reports and longer-form documents. We can help with structure, layout, typography, proofreading, image sourcing, print-ready artwork and print production.
Do you design signage?
Yes. We design signage for interiors, exteriors, workplaces, venues, schools, exhibitions, events and public spaces. This can include wayfinding, wall graphics, window vinyl's, entrance signs, directional signage, shop fronts, interpretation panels and banners.
Do you charge hourly or by project?
We can do both. For clearly defined projects, such as a website, brand identity, brochure or campaign, we will usually provide a quote based on the agreed scope. For smaller tasks, artwork changes, production support or ongoing design work, we may charge by the hour, tracked in five-minute increments.
We can also work pro rata where needed, so the cost reflects the actual time and support required.
Can you quote before we start?
Yes. For most projects, we will define the scope and provide a quote before work begins. Some projects are easy to quote because the deliverables are clear. Others need a short discovery or scoping phase first, especially if there are technical requirements, integrations, complex content structures or lots of unknowns.
Our aim is to give you a clear view of cost, timings and what is included before the project moves forward.
How long does a WordPress website take?
A typical WordPress website takes around 12 weeks. That usually allows time for planning, sitemap work, design, development, CMS setup, content population, testing and launch. Timings can be shorter for simpler sites or longer for projects with more pages, more stakeholders, WooCommerce, integrations or a more involved approval process.
How much does brochure design cost?
Brochure design is usually quoted based on the number of pages, content complexity, design style and production requirements. A simple leaflet or short brochure will cost less than a detailed report, prospectus, catalogue or magazine-style publication. We can also support copy, proofreading, image sourcing, print-ready artwork and print production where needed. For smaller updates or artwork changes, we can charge by the hour. For full brochure projects, we usually provide a fixed quote.
Why do project costs vary so much?
Costs vary because creative and digital projects can differ massively in scale. A small WordPress website, a logo design, a full rebrand, a Laravel platform, a Shopify store and a campaign rollout all require different levels of strategy, design, development, production and testing. The cost is usually shaped by the number of deliverables, complexity, functionality, content, technical requirements, stakeholder involvement and how much support is needed after launch.
What information do you need to quote a project?
To quote properly, we usually need to understand what you need, what you already have, what the project needs to achieve and when you need it. For websites, it helps to know the platform, rough page count, functionality, integrations, content status and any technical requirements. For branding, it helps to know whether you need strategy, naming, visual identity, messaging, guidelines or rollout. For graphic design, it helps to know the formats, sizes, page counts, deadlines and whether print or production support is needed. A rough brief is enough to start the conversation.
