Visual identity

A strong visual identity makes your organisation feel clearer, more confident and more consistent.

The look and feel of your brand.

Visual identity is the visible part of your brand. It is how people recognise you before they have read the full story. It covers the visual ingredients that shape perception: your logo, colour palette, typography, layout style, illustration, iconography, imagery, graphics and the way everything comes together across different touchpoints.

Visual identity vs brand identity

Visual identity is not the whole brand. It is one part of it. A full brand identity includes the deeper strategic thinking behind how your organisation presents itself. That might include positioning, purpose, values, messaging, tone of voice, audience strategy, brand architecture and the wider system that guides how the brand behaves.

Visual identity is how that thinking shows up visually. So, if you already know who you are but need to look sharper, a visual identity project may be the right fit. If you need to clarify what you stand for, how you talk, who you are targeting or how your brand should work across multiple services, you may need a fuller branding project.

Built for digital use

Your visual identity needs to work harder than ever online. It has to hold together across websites, social media, email templates, presentations, campaigns, PDFs, signage and everything in between. That means the system needs to be flexible, not just attractive.

We design visual identities with digital in mind, making sure your colours, typography, graphic style and visual rules can translate into a website that feels distinctive, usable and consistent. If your website is the main place people experience your brand, the identity needs to be built to perform there.
