Creating an accessible healthcare explainer video to help patients understand fibroid treatment

Fibroids can be a complex and often overwhelming topic for patients, making clear communication around treatment options incredibly important. Gynesonics needed a way to explain the fibroid treatment journey in a simple, reassuring and engaging way, helping patients understand what fibroids are, how they can be treated and what to expect throughout the process.

We created a bespoke illustrated explainer video built around a conversation between a patient and doctor, bringing the consultation experience to life in a familiar and approachable way. We developed the full illustration style, creating characters, scenes and medical infographics that transformed complex information into an easy-to-follow visual story. The animation combines illustration, motion design, artworking and voiceover to guide patients through each stage of the treatment process.

The final video provides Gynesonics with a valuable patient education resource, helping to make medical information more accessible whilst maintaining the accuracy and professionalism required within healthcare. By combining storytelling, illustration and animation, we helped create a resource that supports clearer conversations and gives patients greater confidence in understanding their treatment options.
